Authors of February

February is upon us, and hopefully the January weather is behind us. The hundreds of booksellers that visited Seattle for the American Booksellers Association Winter Institute have returned to their bookstores sated by long days of wine and books. We loved having so many passionate booksellers pass through our city and our store. Come back soon!

Join us in the bookstore this month as welcome Seattle writer Robin Oliveira reading from her brand new novel I Always Loved You on February 4th; acclaimed writer Rabih Alameddine joins us onFebruary 6th to read from his new novel An Unnecessary Woman; on February 14th writer and literary critic Sarah Churchwell discusses her new book on  F. Scott Fitzgerald Careless People: Murder, Mayhem, and the Invention of The Great Gatsby; novelist Matthew Quick whose Silver Linings Playbookinspired the Oscar-winning film reads from his newest book The Good Luck of Right Now on February 18th; Anthony Marra whose debut novel astonished readers all over the world joins us on February 19th to celebrate the paperback release of A Constellation of Vital Phenomena; and in late February we will play host to a slew of readings featuring writers visiting Seattle for the AWP (Association of Writers & Writing Programs) conference, including poet Nathalie HandalDavid James Poissant & Jennifer Percy, and group reading with authors published in The Sun and byNorthwestern University Press. These are just a few of the amazing authors visiting the bookstore this February. We look forward to seeing you!
